His Eminence Seraphim (Sigrist)’s 80th birthday
Your Eminence, dear Vladyka Seraphim,
The last month of this year marks your 80th birthday. Your whole life has been devoted to serving God and His Church in different countries including Russia.
St Philaret’s, where you have served on the Board of Trustees, will always remember with gratitude our numerous meetings, prayer and worship together, your sermons and talks at our conferences organised both by the Institute and the Transfiguration Brotherhood, many of which were subsequently translated into Russian and published. One such occasion to remember was a beautiful meeting with our children and youth in 2004 which ended with a Moleben for the Multiplication of Love.
Please accept our heartfelt greetings and best wishes for your birthday. We pray that the Lord may keep you healthy, that God’s grace may be with you all the years of your life.
We also wish to take this opportunity to send our best wishes for the upcoming anniversary of your chirotony.
