Brill Publishers has released the 23rd volume of the series Christian-Muslim Relations: A Bibliographical History, on Christian-Muslim relations in the Russian Empire during the period between 1800 and 1914. The collection includes an article on Vladimir Solovyov, authored by SFI’s Professor Alexey Zhuravsky.

“The series itself represents a large-scale scholarly project being carried out by the Faculty of Theology and Religion of the University of Birmingham; the project covers nearly 1,400 years of interaction between the Christian and Muslin communities worldwide,” said Alexey Zhuravsky. “The project's goal is to collect and describe all known texts in which Christians and Muslims have written about each other. These volumes, which correspond to specific time periods and regions, feature both surviving and lost works, accompanied by detailed biographies of the authors, descriptions and evaluations of the texts, as well as information on manuscripts, editions, translations, and scholarly studies of these texts.”
