“Contemporary Orthodox Ecclesiology” Conference Postponed to Autumn 2020

Dear colleagues, 

The latest decisions of many governments, including Russia, with regard to preventing the spreading of the corona virus (COVID-19) make it impossible at this moment for many of the participants to finalise their plans for coming to Moscow in May. The Organising Committee therefore has decided to postpone the Conference and to hold it in autumn of 2020 instead of May. 

We regret the circumstance and ask you to accept our most sincere apologies, especially for those seriously inconvenienced by this decision. 

At the same time, we wish to thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts for your interest in the topic of the Conference and for your desire to participate. We hope very much that the delay will not affect your plans and that we will be able to meet in autumn for brotherly fellowship and academic discussion of this crucial topic for all of us – that of church unity. 

We also hope that, with God’s help, the spreading of the virus will stop and those affected will be healed, and that all of you will be in good health. 

We will let you know about the details and exact dates of the Conference as soon as possible.
