Conference on the 125^th Anniversary of the Birth of Mother Maria (Skobtsova)

St. Philaret’s Institute, the Transfiguration Brotherhood and the Anna Akhmatova Museum at Fountain House invite you to participate in the international research and training conference “We all Stand at a New Threshold: the Creativity in Freedom of Mother Maria (Skobtsova).” The conference will take place on 15-16 June in St. Petersburg; the opening on the 15^th is at 11am.

Exhibition dedicated to the Life and Work of Mother Maria

The conference is timed to coincide with an exhibition dedicated to Mother Maria’s life and work. The opening ceremony for the exhibition will be held on the 15th of June, at 5pm, at the Anna Akhmatova Museum, located at 53 Liteyny Prospect, Sin St. Petersburg.

Evening Commemorating Nikita Struve

On the evening of the 16^th of June, during the course of the conference, there will be a meeting dedicated to the memory of the recently departed Nikita Struve – publisher, translator and the Editor-in-chief of the YMCA-Press publishing house, in Paris.
